Dhotrey is a village surrounded by pine forests in the heart of the Himalayas. The village is an offbeat place near Darjeeling. The sleeping Buddha range of Kanchenjunga can be seen very well from the village.
It is located within the Singalila National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The place is perfect for adventure lovers.
Our Dhotrey Homestay is located just above the village. So the view of Kanchenjunga from here is also very good. The Sleeping Buddha range of Kanchenjunga is visible from all rooms.

By Air: The nearest airport to Dhotrey is Bagdogra Airport, located approximately 90 kilometers away.
By Train: The nearest railway station to Dhotrey is New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), situated around 85 kilometers away.
To come to Dhotre, you can come from two directions, one via Mirik and the other via Ghoom. If you want to come through Mirik, first you have to come to Sukhiya and Manebhanjan, and then from there to Dhotrey. If you want to come through ghoom, you will go to Manebhanjan via Lepchajagat and from there to Dhotrey.
